I am happy to see Penélope Cruz, a Spaniard, as one of the presenters at the Oscars. Spaniards in general seem to be of the opinion that when actors such as Antonio Banderas, Javier Bardem or Penélope Cruz make it in Hollywood, they are dissing their country of birth, and they voice it! I think it’s good that Spanish actors are able to represent in L.A. 

I have seen “Pe” trash roles and also rise to the occasion on others, but I am certainly proud to see a Spaniard at the 84th Academy Awards. I was also born in Spain. But … will they make fun of her accent?
